December Newsletter
Director's Corner,
Merry Christmas,
I hope the start of December finds each one of you well and getting into the holiday spirit. It is coming up very fast. I, for one, am not quite ready but everything always seems to come together. I look forward to the first snowfall. It is a magical time of the year. All of the Christmas lights, great food and being with family makes it the most wonderful time of the year. Whatever you do, have a beautiful and safe holiday season.
We are in the last month of our scavenger hunt. If you have not started yet, there is time to find the answers to the 12 clues, bring them in and we will get you in the books for the Apple iPad giveaway. This has been a really fun project for us. I hope you have enjoyed it, too. I can’t believe where the twelve months have gone. We started this hunt last January, if you remember, when we kicked off our yearlong 120 year celebration. Get going. It is not too late!
I hope you have enjoyed each month’s giveaways. For December, we have one last special giveaway for you. Come in and take a commemorative PBTDL mug and a bag filled with marshmellows and cocoa.
As our celebration is coming to a close. I hope you have enjoyed it as much as Kaylee, Paige and I have. Thank you for coming along on this journey with us this past year. Clue #12 – Do you know when the opening day of our current location was? You may have to visit inside the library for the answer or take a look outside!
Don't forget to pick up your favorite holiday book or maybe a mystery, too. We have a great selection for you.
I do have a surprise coming in January for our very young patrons. I can't wait to share it with you.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
