Director's Corner,

Happy New Year!

As we start the new year, I want to thank each one of you for your donations to the Hope Tree.  Because of you, the Potterville community has warm hands and warm heads to get them started for the winter.  I so appreciate your thoughtfulness.  I, also, so appreciate the Friends of the Library for all that they do to make your library a place for all ages.  The Friends of the Library's latest donation of VOX books (read along books) will help the beginning readers get excited about starting to read.  Come and check them out!

Kaylee and Paige are very busy getting ready for our Winter Reading Challenge which starts January 20th for all ages.  The theme for this year is "Hooks and Books".   You can complete a puzzle, bake/cook a new recipe or come in and build a Lego Snowman.  They all count as part of the challenge.   It is sure to be a fun event for everyone!  I will keep you posted.

The 2024 120th Celebration has come to a close.  The  Scavenger Hunt is over.  One very lucky person was awarded the IPad.  I hope that you had as much fun during the year as Kaylee, Paige and I did.  Thank you to all for going along for the year long ride.  It was a terrific ride!

Come in and help us celebrate the new year.  Check out the new titles that have just arrived.  Maybe I will see you at StoryTime.  Have a fantastic month.
